LEARN AN ANCIENT LONGEVITY PRACTICE USING YOGA AND CHINESE MEDICINE THEORY

In this 18-hour immersion you will learn the basics of Yin Yoga from a Chinese medicine perspective, where meridian lines meet asana on a unique platform.  Yin yoga is a longevity practice that strongly affects our bones and joints over time.  It offers a powerful healing method using the Chinese medicine meridian lines and helps us to cultivate patience, generate energy and find our way deeper into ourselves.

18 Contact Hours: 

  • Foundations of Chinese medicine and meridians 
  • Foundations of Yin yoga
  • 5 balanced sequences 
  • Understanding how to enter and exit yin poses safely
  • Hands on adjustments
  • Holding space for yourself and your students
  • Teaching poses with confidence
  • Understanding when to use yin poses in your yang flow classes
  • Yin Yoga as a longevity practice
  • Yin Yoga  and  connective tissue 
  • Practice teaching in small groups

4 Non - Contact Hours:

  • Keeping a practice journal
  • Reading from recommended reading list
  • Writing a paper (topic provided at the end of course - optional for non - TT participants).

Pricing:  $400 both weekends, $250 one weekend. It is highly recommended to take both weekends for a cohesive and full understanding of the method, but this training can be broken up. Another training will be offered in late 2018 or early 2019.
