Healing With Laura

When you book a session with me, we begin with a thoughtful intake to map out the best path forward for your unique healing journey. I’m a licensed acupuncturist in Brooklyn, NY, with a background in Western Nutrition and a Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Most often, I recommend starting with acupuncture. It’s direct, effective, and gives us valuable insight into how your body responds and what it truly needs.

Over the past 25 years, I’ve trained in multiple healing modalities including Thai Yoga Massage, Yin and Yang Yoga, Japanese-style acupuncture, micro-needling, and both peri and menopause focused health coaching. Each session is intuitive and personalized, blending Eastern wisdom with modern approaches to help you heal from the inside out.

Acupuncture in Brooklyn, NY

Acupuncture is one of the most widely used Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) modalities and my favorite way to help you heal.

An acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of very fine needles into the body at specific points along the meridians, the body’s energetic pathways. Much like nerves and blood vessels, meridians form a comprehensive network through which Qi (energy) flows. By stimulating these points, acupuncture restores balance by directing Qi to areas of deficiency and dispersing it where it is stagnant.

In simple terms: acupuncture helps your body heal itself.

At my Brooklyn practice, I use acupuncture to support a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Pain relief (neck, shoulder, back pain, headaches, joint pain, arthritis, sports injuries)

  • Women’s health (menstrual issues, fertility, pregnancy support, menopause symptoms)

  • Mental health & nervous system balance (anxiety, stress, insomnia, depression)

  • Digestive issues (IBS, bloating, SIBO, sluggish metabolism)

  • Skin health & aging (acne, acne scars, fine lines, overall skin vitality)

I believe in honoring the wisdom of Chinese medicine while applying it to the realities of modern life. As the saying goes: “Modern disease, modern application.” By blending my clinical expertise with years of experiential training as both healer and empath, I help you find your way back to YOU - balanced, vibrant, and whole.
