The Chinese symbol “Zhong” represents the center, invoking the idea that balance comes from within, regulated by our ability to maintain moderation through diet, exercise and lifestyle choices. Laura’s Life in Balance approach helps patients to become rooted in their healing process. In doing so, clients ultimately strengthen their center, becoming grounded with a sense of health and well being. Laura's unique LK5 Lifestyle Rules will help you to figure out how food as medicine philosophy links you to a healthy lifestyle that works for your busy schedule.

Infact, the cleansing effects of the a plant-based diet comes when you eat a fair amount of raw food. This doesn't work for everyone and it certainly doesn't work for me on a consistent basis, but let's say I am not against diving into it in the hot summer months to cool down and clean out.
