HEALING With Laura Looks Like This:

When you book a session with me, we begin with a thoughtful intake to map out the best path forward for your unique healing journey. I’m a licensed Acupuncturist in New York with a background in Western Nutrition and a Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Most often, I recommend starting with Acupuncture, it’s direct, effective, and gives us insight into how your body responds and what it truly needs.

Over the past 25 years, I’ve also trained in Thai Yoga Massage, Yin and Yang Yoga, Japanese-style acupuncture, Micro-Needling, and peri and menopause-focused Health Coaching. You can visit the links below to learn more about these services or book a free consult to find out what is the best way forward for you.

My work is intuitive and personalized. I blend East Asian wisdom with modern tools to support men, women and young adults through all stages of life. You’ll find a range of holistic treatments under one thoughtful, boutique wellness umbrella.

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is one of the most common TCM modalities used in contemporary clinical settings and it is my favorite way to help you heal. An acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of very fine needles into the body at specific points, identified for their relationship to distinct energetic pathways, known as meridians. Much like nerves and blood vessels, meridians create a comprehensive energetic network through which Qi, or energy, flows. During an acupuncture treatment, points are chosen to help facilitate the flow of Qi.  Acupuncture regulates and restores balance in the body by directing Qi to areas that are deficient, or drawing it away from areas that are stagnant. What this truly means is that acupuncture helps you heal yourself. There is a saying in Chinese that goes something like this. “Modern disease, modern application.” I am an advocate of blending my expertise and using the tools of my experiential growth as a healer and empath to help you find your way back to YOU!

Some ways that we might incorporate a more holistic approach to your session is by using acupuncture with other balancing methods.
